On Friday 15th May 2015, St Johns Church, Blackburn will play host to Blackburn's first ever print festival.

Printmaker's from across the UK will gather for a weekend celebration of contemporary print design.

 

Friday evening will see an opening exhibition of both local and national print designers and artist showcasing their latest and specially created pieces of works. The exhibition will accompanied by a live DJ and drinks bar.

 

Saturday 16th May will see a day of print workshops and print stalls, with live entertainment in the the evening.   

 

The workshops will include screen printing, lino printing, stencil printing, marble printing and an experimental sound and print workshop.

 

The print stalls will be open through Saturday selling original prints and illustrations as well as printed products ranging from prints, cards cups, calendars, cushions, and clothes.
